What’s the difference between Adaptive Audio, Active Noise Cancellation, and Transparency mode?
Adaptive Audio dynamically decreases the level of noise in loud environments for comfortable listening, while still keeping you aware of your surroundings. Whether you’re out walking, cycling, on the metro, or at the gym, you can stay alert while still enjoying your music, podcasts, and audiobooks. (Coming September 2025)
Active Noise Cancellation helps block out all external noise letting you fully immerse yourself in your music, studies, work, or workouts.
Transparency mode lets you hear the world around you, almost as if you weren’t wearing your earbuds at all. It passes through outside noises, so you won’t miss important things like someone calling your name or the doorbell ringing, even while enjoying your audio.

How do I set up and wear my Pixel Buds Pro 2?
Gently insert your earbud into the ear. After inserting each earbud, slightly rotate it back and forth until it comfortably stays in place when you move your head.
Your Pixel Buds are pre-attached with medium eartips and come with extra small, small, and large ear tips so that you can improve your fit. Ears are unique, so your left ear may be different from your right ear. We recommend that you try at least two different sizes for each ear to find the best fit.
